2020 14 portraits
Portrait: 14 years of hegemony
The annual carnival of Bergen op Zoom is celebrated and embodied by the monarch of Carnival; Prins Nilles the 3rd. For 14 years he has led the annual festivities and gave al his time, joy and connectedness to this cultural spectacle. As an artist I captured this legacy in 14 portraits of those 14 years on a canvas measuring 200 x 140 cm.
